A survey conducted by Ann Summers has come as close as I think we will get some time to determine what are the favorite sexual positions of nations and where we like to do the most.

It seems that the "dog" stands out, 25% of people saying that it is the one they prefer. In a close second she is the "woman at the top", 23% of people claiming that it is their favorite position.

What we find just as interesting is the fact that 66% of people said they preferred to have two to three positions during a sexual encounter. It would be interesting to see if this has to do with the increased use of porn in modern society. Does the fact that the man and the woman enter and leave the positions make the spectators more adventurous themselves?
The survey of 1000 participants also noted regional variations in results. It seems that the most perverse couples are in Bucharest, while 33% of people in Cluj prefer to remain missionaries.
The findings showed that despite our busy lifestyles, a third of participants still found time to have sex two to four times a week and 24% use sex toys to spice things up even more.
Fifty shades of gray also seem to have an impact on society, with 5% of people going with crops, floggers and paddles, just like in the book (and film), however, it could be argued that this is still pretty low.
An Ann Summer spokesman said it was proof that as a nation we were becoming less sexually inhibited.
"Our goal is to build people's trust and not be afraid to experiment with new toys or lubricants to truly maximize their pleasure and bring them even closer to their partner.
"We're also excited to see that most adults have regular sex with their partners and don't just have fun in the bedroom."
